ELA – Provision the Hike
From the Ingredients make your own trail mix: Cheerios, raisins, pretzels, sunflower seeds, mini chocolate chips (or safe local options)
Instructions:
- Choose 3–4 ingredients and measure out ¼ cup of each.
- Mix ingredients in a small paper bag or cup.
- Use the “recipe worksheet” to save your trail mix recipe for our cookbook:
- “My mix has ____.”
- “It is good because ____.”
- Optional: draw your mix.
Math –
Math Objective: Apply math skills outdoors using real-world objects
Practice estimation, counting, comparing, and problem-solving
Take a walk and complete a scavenger hunt at the park.
