ELA – Provision the Hike

From the Ingredients make your own trail mix: Cheerios, raisins, pretzels, sunflower seeds, mini chocolate chips (or safe local options)
Instructions:

  1. Choose 3–4 ingredients and measure out ¼ cup of each.
  2. Mix ingredients in a small paper bag or cup.
  3. Use the “recipe worksheet” to save your trail mix recipe for our cookbook:
    • “My mix has ____.”
    • “It is good because ____.”
    • Optional: draw your mix.

Math –

Math Objective: Apply math skills outdoors using real-world objects

Practice estimation, counting, comparing, and problem-solving

Take a walk and complete a scavenger hunt at the park.
